Visually stunning 40-page full colour printed zine centred on the women musicians that punk rock produced, but spreading out to include revolutions in art, culture, politics and how generations of girls and women who continue playfully to reject what was expected of them.

Authors Vim Renault and Lene Cortina are two grown-up punk girls who have built up a sturdy following on Twitter and Instagram @punkgirldiaries and their blog punkgirldiaries.com. Blogzine 4 includes exclusive interviews with Gee Vaucher, who painted all the Crass artwork – sleeve designs and posters; June Miles-Kingston, founder of Mo-dettes and drummer with 80s acts like  Fun Boy Three, Everything But the Girl and The Communards; Black British punk frontwoman Chas Hines of the 1978 band Bonar Rays; Holly Ross from DIY heroes The Lovely Eggs; Julianne Regan who fronted All About Eve and is now a lecturer in songwriting, and Wendy James, who was previously in Transvision Vamp and has just released Queen High Straight – a fantastic self-produced album.

As well as the incisive interviews, the zine includes original art, a look at tribute punk, recycled 1970s Jackie magazine strips, and features about The Shaggs, The Slits and Nico. It’s a work of art in itself, with each copy numbered by hand. Early orderers also get a free badge, poster or other free surprise.
