I adopted that punk attitude.
The one that goes,
“Look at me, I’m not like all you boring people – I’m creative, different, extraordinary.”
But if anyone looked at me ….
“What are you looking at me for?” and do some stupid face to show how annoying (and thrilling) it is when someone thinks you’re weird.
As teeny small town punks, we never went to the King’s Road in London; the local Woolworth’s was the best place for hanging around. But these films from 1978 show that exact playing-up-for-the-camera attitude.
